need a new ignitor, would a ignitor from another b-series vtec work?
my 97 itr needs a new ignitor.
i know that there is an itr specific ignitor, but would an ignitor from another b-series vtec work in my itr?
a new itr specific ignitor from honda costs as much as a rebuilt distributor assembly. i'm looking for a cheaper alternative option.
thanks.

As far as I've experienced, YES you can use an ignitor from another fellow OBD2 B or D-series distributor.
You don't need to buy an ITR specific ignitor either.
