White lith sucks, just use some regular grease, people overuse white lith and end up using it on a lot of things that it isn't gonna do any good for.

White lithium for the regulator, lightly applied silicone paste for the run channels. Do not use WD40, especially on the run channels.

EDIT: Clean the run channels before lubing them.

The silicone paste we use for run channels at work is called Shin-Etsu.

Clean the run channel with soap and water and let it dry. Apply the lube and let it sit for a couple minutes. Then wipe off the residual. The seals should feel kind of oily but not have any excess because it just attracts dust.

If you are going to have the door panels off do the same with the lower run channel while the window is up.

The #1 cause of regulator failure on Hondas is the run channels getting sticky and straining the regulator. Especially on pre 2001 Civic coupes and hatches. Keep them clean and lubed and you won't have problems. I do mine every 3 months.

Then DON'T LUBE THE DAMNED WINDOWS!
Either do it right, or don't do it at all. This half assed **** is how problems happen.

Not the felts the run channel, the rubber track the window slides up and down in. If you don't know what I mean I'll try to post a picture when I get home tonight.

Clean and lube the run channels with the window down. Then if you are going to have the door panels off clean the lower portion that is in the door.

Don't put anything on the felts. LOL. That would just make a mess.
