can someone tell me what are cams, cam gears, rods, mostly the internals of the engine do???Because i need help with stuff before I can move on

I don't think anyone here will be patient enough with you to give you any understanding
Here come the flames.
But you REALLY should try the library and start studying all about engines.
It's not really something you can pick up quickly without alot of reading AND doing. Give yourself some time to learn. Good Luck.
