alright i have a z6 head and its going on a d16y7 bottom and i was tryin to find out EVERYTHING that i need to hook up, also throwing a turbo on the motor.

i looked and only had people tell me head, intake minifold, and exhaust gaskets. what i was wondering was am i going to need a new dizzy and a new timing belt had only one person tell me i did and i just wanna make sure. will i also need new head studs?

Look up BauleyCivic (sp?). He has all the info you need.

 

Yeah, make sure you use the z6 distributor. A timing belt isnt a bad idea if yours is old but if you feel safe with the current one its not an issue, and it more work than is actually required for a head swap.

 

no, you need a z6 timing belt and you'll need more stuff than you think.
