need help! Dizzy problems/not starting
Ok here's the simple version: so I changed my dizzy with another. Wouldn't start, so put the one on that I took off (was working fine yesterday) still won't start... what the hell how is the possible? Someone please help I need my car to run, and uhm.. its not?
****EDIT 2/22*****
Ok got a new starter, didn't do ****. So we determined I'm getting great spark, and fuel. When you crank it and hold the gas the motor def. breathes and you can her it like very lightly coughing kinda, but no start, and you can smell it in the exhaust that its pushing gas through a little. Any more ideas?

do you know what your missing? are you missing a spark? are you missing signal at your injectors? do you have fuel pressure?
you have to check these things so you know what direction to go in.

well I don't know how to check those things? I guess I'll just tow it to my mechanic, I really don't feel like messing with all this. Unless someone can point me in the direction to check these things.
np.im guessing you dont have the proper tools to do these tests, so were gonna do it back yard style..lol
pull out a spark plug, and stick it into the spark plug wire. touch the end of the plug( the part thats normaly in the cylender ) onto a metal part of the engin, or body.(something grounded). have someone crank the engin, and you should see the spark jump from the plug. be careful not to hold the plug its self when you do this.
this will tell you if you have a spark or not.
to test the fuel pressure the "jobber" way i guess, would be to disconect the fuel line from the fuel rail, and turn the key to the on position. DO NOT CRANK THE ENGIN. if the pump is puting out fuel, it will spray out of the line. so be carefull. iv never had to actualy do this, but if you dont have the tools to do it properly, i guess this is the way to do it.
or you could avoid the dangerous mess, and tow it to a garage.
