need help deciding: TL or TSX
First of all, stoked to be getting a newish car soon, and stoked to be on this board now. I currently drive a 97 accord 5 speed. I love fuel efficiency of course, but I have a very heavy foot that will get me in serious trouble someday (no racing, just driving really fast), but until then I'll enjoy my cars
I like my manual, and like cars with good top speed. Within my price range, I can choose from some 6 speed TSX's, and automatic TL's. I can't afford anything extra fancy like a type S, so what will give me the best options for speed? Is the TL noticeably faster than the TSX? In my experience, I think 6 cylinders are overrated, but then again I am a fan of hondas...
I just graduated college and am looking for a real job, so aside from saving for a house, I'd be interested in putting a little extra money in performance modifications as time moves along. Which car would I have the most fun making very fast and high speeds. I'm swaying towards the 6 speed manual TSX, but please let me know if you think I'd be frustrated with a slow car that will forever be relatively slow

Just stay away from the 5 speed automatic in the early-mid 2000 TL's. Other than that, the TL is a nice luxury line. You don't buy one to race, you buy it because you're a baller.

For fast, the TL handles that. For fun, probably the TSX. My other car is a Lincoln with a V8 that flies when you slam the gas, but my 100hp Honda is way more fun to drive...

No big surprise, as I've been leaning towards the 6 speed TSX, but I read that the rear seat of the TL does not fold down, which kills it because I need to fit basically everything I have/choose to keep into one car load and drive it from Minnesota to California in two months when I move.
