Default need help with b16

ok i was driving today and i ran into some flooding i was wondering how do u know if water got into to the engine cause my air filter was wet? and if water did get into my engine does it mean that even alittle water will do damage to the engine. and also i was wondering if i just drain the oil will it fix the problem? the car still starts?

The only concern is if your filter becomes completely submerged in water. Otherwise, you should be fine. A damp filter is nothing to worry about.
