i have done a lot of checking on my civic and still wont idle basically no throttle respond...

i had a code 3 indeed the map was bad .. ok I replaced it .. do a diaganose and im not getting any codes anymore , so i try to start the car agian .. same story it idles like if only 2 pistons were working , i figure lets c heck timing ... i performed a timing check .. the result .. timing in good condition....
The thing i can not understand for **** , si that why the hell if i keep the key on the ignition possition the car will rev up nice , but as soon as i let it go it will idle like **** again and no throttle response.......

any suggestions??

should i cut the crap and take it to Honda .. the only thing is that since i have turbo and a bunch of mods .. they might give me the finger and wont work on it ...

Whoa buddy....ok what motor do you have. What symptoms, what is the deal, what have you done, what ECU, any CEL's.

okay eher is the complete story ... I upgraded turbocharger on my 1998 civic SI i put a t3t04 i have complete fuel system 450cc injectors VAFC , FMU vortech 255LPH fuel pump ... i was tunning the car im full load 11psi on 4th gear about 6000rpm , all of the sudden i feel a big hit , like fuel cut .. i figure there goes my motor , so i try to start the engine and all i get is a 0 throttle respond messed up idle like when u unplug two spark plug wires ... so i remove the plug and performed a compression test ... it reads all good , i performed a ecu diagnose, and was showing CODE #3 witch is faulty MAP..
I replaced the MAP performed another ECU diagnose and is all cleared no more CODES , I put new Iridum NGKs and try to start the car .. SAME no throttle at all and messed up idle aroudn 400rpm uneven , I check for spark OK , I check for fuel press and injector pulse OK , I check for timing OK as well so I dont know what else to check for ....
The funny situation here is that IF i hold the key on the start the car will rev normal ( can keep the key in there or else i fry the starter) if i let it go like is normal the car will idle like **** once again ......

 

Ok, so will the car actually start but not idle?

Sounds like a fuel delivery problem.

Take out your spark plugs and tell me what color they are. Brown, white, black??

The plugs are BLACK ... I thought on that too but when I removed the fuel rail and cranked the engine all the injectors were opening in their sequence ...
