wondering what is involved in swapping a 89 prelude motor-trans into a 89 civic. can it be done with place racing motor mount kit cinsidering the lude wotor is a b series and it is a cable tranny. my buddy totaled his lude and it has a strong motor and i already have the mount kit.

 

Uh, why? the 88-91 Prelude engines are dogs.

B16A1 in 88-91 are a waste IMO. I'd go B17A1. Or B18A1 and build it for boost.

i meant tow it out of his garage. i was gonna pull the motor and then donate the car to the local fire dept. for their training. it seems there is no real value in that motor so the car is prob. get junked with the motor.
