Hey if you want an opinion on a motor than you should put in. Drop anything 1.8L. That right now is the motor with the potential. If you want a torque monster drop the LS (B18C) block with a Vtec head, if you want a top end fighter drop in a GSR (B18C1) or ITR (B18C5). I know too many people with 2.2's losing to GSR's and ITR's. With the motor in you should use the AC braket on the motor you drop in. (if that makes any sense)

Maybe weight reduction? I dont know about you, but I can sacrafice 75 pounds for air conditioning. Especially here in Dallas.

Well I'm not an expert on the #'s that go with the blocks. I don't own a LS. I just know a couple of people who have LS's with either NOS or a turbo and they're really quick and their tourque is a bit higher than mine.
