Mixing brake fluid
I went to the Acura dealer for service a couple weeks ago. I didn't notice until I got home and looked under the hood, but I guess as a favor for having me wait so long, they topped off the fluids in my car, including the brake fluid. I am currently using ATE Super Blue. Will the mixing of the Honda and ATE fluid affect braking in any way? Should I just get the whole system flushed out?
TIA!

for the most part it isn't recommended to mix the brake fluid because the fluids might not work well together. because i think (don't quote me on this) the brakes will not work to its full potential with certain mixtures.
Same thing happened to me! I had just put new Motul fluid in a few weeks earlier, the level was fine, but they just HAD to add a little, i was so pissed cuz that Motul stuff is so expensive, just tell em before u have anything done next time
The big thing is don't mix the DOT 5.0 silicon based fluid with anything like 3.0, 4.0, or 5.1 DOT fluid. As long as you don't do that, you should be fine. Although it would **** me off too if that happend to me....
