Default misfire under load.. bad injector?

Vehicle: 94 integra ls

Problem:
When driving in any gear there is a slight misfire throughout the rpms. I have replaced the distributor, plugs and wires with no luck. I listened to the injectors and they all sounded alright.

Question:
Could an injector work alright while ideling but have trouble while under a load?

Thanks
Ben

could be a bad ignighter! becouse that would cause it to miss fire on load!

I replaced the distributor so I dont believe it is a bad ignitor. I believe it is a bad injector. Or could it be a timing issue? or a bad valve? Thanks for the help.

I would say to check a couple of things. Map sensor, TPS sensor and coolant sensor.

I adjusted the valves, set the timing, changed the fuel filter, and checked the compression today. The compression was good all across. The new fuel filter helped alot. However the miss is still there. It isnt as bad as it was. Lately I noticed that sometimes when I turn the switch over it doesnt crank. I have to try a few times and then it will. The ECU isnt throwing any codes. Any ideas? Thanks again.

Its not a real bad misfire. Only happens when accelerating. and it seems to stop after about 3 grand. Going to check fuel pressure tomorrow. I believe it is either an injector and fuel pump. Not sure though.

Also sometimes when I turn the key to start the car, it waits a second before it cranks over. sometimes it wont crank over. but then i can turn the key again and it will. What could this be? Could it be related to the miss somehow?

Thanks
Ben

do it anyway, one of your cylinders gota be cooler than the rest. from there you will know what to do.

did you change out your plugs and wires? i know its not the most educated guess, but you've checked/replaced lots of other things and all you did was check the plugs? everytime i've ever had symptoms like you're explaining, its been the plug wires, and like i said, it might be a long shot, but ya never know.

Yes I have replaced them. So far I have replaced the plugs, wires, distributor, and fuel filter. I adjusted the valves, checked the timing belt, set the timing, and checked the compression. Im going to check the fuel pressure soon. Im not sure what is causing the miss. or what is causing it not to crank over sometimes. Car also runs very cool all the time. I think I made need a thermostat as well.

the reason i was tell in you to use a water bottle and squirt water on your headers while you engine is running because if all 3 cylinders are hotter than 1 you can dianos the cylinder.

you know 1 cylinder can cause your missfire

Hook up a gauge and check fuel pressure, you may have it too high or too low. I had this problem with a d16 once

i have gone throught the same problem at one time.
i changed out everything i thought it could be.
i changed my injectors, ecu, dizzy, fuel pump, fuses and even wiring harness.
all this and no luck.
then one day i came across a spare main relay so i replace it with the one that was in my car and since i've had no more problems.
