Default Mini-Me Gasket question, head getting milled

Got a d16z6 head, going to drop it onto my VX block(d15z1). Just went to get it cleaned and check for warpage. Good news is its usable and pretty much in good shape, some warping but they did a light milling on it and got it level. Bad news is the cam shaft was broken, oh well getting a comp cam tomorrow and using that. My question is this though, earlier a suggestion was to get a newer thinner gasket. With the milling, what gasket should i use for the swap now? Maybe thicker is better since it was milled? Do i have to check clearance and stuff? how do i?....... Suggestions, sage wisdom, etc would be appreciated.

You can probably use a new stock head gasket for the motor, and have higher compression with that, I don't believe you need to worry about valve-to-piston clearance.

Extra info requested on this. Its not so much about the gasket anymore. I'm looking for more info regarding the valve to piston clearance. Anyone want to speak from experience that it shouldnt be a problem? The head got milled around .005 Anyone have measurements of what normal valve-piston clearance would be for the d15z1 and the d16z6? then I could probably just work out the math. If it helps, the z1 and z6 have almost identical compression ratios(if i remember right).
