Mini Me on 90 HB STD............PLEASEEEEE READDDDDDD
sorry guys for being anoying and having this at all places..... but need confirmation soon......
ok heres the deal....
today i went and swaped a D16Z6 longblock into my car.. with a 89CRX Si Dizzy and 87 teg ecu (PG7).... i got the Z6 intake manifold, inyectors, block , head and all that ****....
ok... i swaped everything and when it came time to start it.. nuttin happened... i tried the car and it wotn start.. it didnt even pop once (like having a fire)..... anyways , i had an extra 88 CRX Si ECU (PM6),. and it did like it popped twice only.... i tought the ecu was bad (PG7) but then after that the car didnt do anything..... i notice that fuel press wasgetting build bc fuel was comming out of the fuel press reguator hose.. i tied that down and nuttin leaked anymore.... i proceed to check for spark.. took ea spark plug out holding it to gnd and i did got a spark... kinda glad bc the dizzy part had me worried.... but ea spark wasnt wet with gas... they were all dry... no fuel..... i used a CRX Si Inyector resistor with the Stock 93 Inyectors.....i checked for current at the inyrectors plugs, and theres current.... all i can think off is that the 5G inyectors doesnt work with Inyector resistor since they are diff gen.... do i have to get 88-89 4G Si or teg inyectors in order to have fuel inyected???? i think i can get a hold of 87 teg inyectors.... those ones work?????

Also, when you do get your fuel problem corrected by using either integ or your injectors on the crx motor, you'll find that the ignition timing is off by about 20 degrees. Thats because you got the wrong motor. The 96 and up heads have the same bolt pattern as the crx and the cam is cut the same way. Lucky for you, you can just change the head. The 92-95 head has a different bolt pattern for the distibutor and the cam is set up different than in 88-91 and 96-01. A new cam wont fix your problem because the entire rocker arm assembly has different geomtery too.
