milled head?
Is it possible to shaved the head yourself, and if not how much does it cost for someone to do it professionally.....what kinda gains am i lookin for outta this on a LS/VTEC with b18c1 head?
Somebody has been asking a similar question. If you had a milling machine, it could be a DIY project.
A few more bhp seems to be it for a conservative approach (.010). Each .010 = ~.1 increase in compression.
I was advised to buy pistons rather than do this b/c serious possibility exists to screw the engine up.

its basically a lot more than just shaving the head, it also involves checking for an uneven surface. Its around the $50-$60 range. Well worth it. Save to take off 15 to 20 thousandths of an inch to raise compression. Also worthwhile to install adjustable cam gears to advance both camshafts to make of for the less height between your camshafts to your crank timing.

How much money would it cost to mill the head 15-20thousandths of an inch...and what kinda power am i gonna be lookin at from it? i know higher compression...but lower e.t.s?
