making a obd0 b16 obd1
what will be needed to make a non-obd b16 work in a obd1 car with a obd-1 ecu.
I know about the o2 sensor what else?? the distributor, can it be taken off of a obd1 b18 ls engine?? Also what will the number be for the ecu "ex. p-28".
thanks

Pr4 ecu. MAKE SURE you dont get scammed for a automatic one.
There would be no use in switching distributors the plugs are pretty much the sole differances. But if you have a newer one allready, hell use it for just the fact its newer.
a conversion harness, or rewire the connectors as ive done before to save the 125 for beer or somthing. the o2 sensor wired into the ecu hence its a 4 wire vs 1 wire, you know allready. besides that your set unless someone else has anything to add ive left out on accident which im sure i didnt.

You HAVE to switch distributors. An obd0 dist will NOT work with an obd1 ecu.
If you are putting an obd0 b16a into an obd1 car:
-use the 4 wire o2 sensor
-get an obd1 distributor (a 92-93 integra dist can be modified to fit....but it will only be held in by 2 bolts)
-use your original obd1 injectors
Some of the plugs for some of the various sensors may be different, depending on what car you're putting the motor into, but all the wires should be there... the most you'd have to do is swap connectors. Also, sensors may be in different locations on the motor, so you may need to extend some wires. But again... this depends on the car you're putting the motor into.
As for ecu, you'll need any obd1 dohc vtec ecu. So, in stock form you'd be looking for a p61, or obd1 pr3 (these are rare, most all the pr3's out there are obd0...so be careful). There are also other obd1 ecu's that can be chipped to work. For instance p28's.
