fast way to check if its the main relay is to check to see if the fuel pump is coming on. and see if you have spark, no spark no fuel=main relay

well its not the main relay.. i dont understand i checked all the connections. grounds fuses everything it all leads back to the starter not turning over.. wtf... the clutch switch i think is working cause when i turn the car on the on position and play with the clutch pedal press it in and out.. the lights on the gauge cluster blink and something clicks. fuel pump is on cant tell if i have spark because the motor is not turning over. im gonna pull the starter out i just bought and take it back and tell them to test it. now how many main or whatever relays are there.. im praying that i got sold a beat starter because i dont know what else to do.. im stumped and if you guys could give me any suggestion they will be appreciated..

if you think you have a dead starter, take it out and do a free spin test on it

now when you say a free spin test.. it turns fine to the one side i pretty sure its clockwise but does not turn counter clockwise.. which way do out motor turnover. im gonna take it out and take it back and tell them to test it.. but if you can think of anything else please your suggestions are welcomed. when i get it started the car is for sale.

Just bench test it.Hook up b-positive and run a ground to the case of starter.Just hook it up to a car battery or jump starter and see if it clicks on and spins
