ls crank in gsr or itr block question?
im putting ls crank and rods into my gsr shortblock is there anything specific i need to use in the gsr block from the ls block?
ive searched and have gotten mixed answers

That should be it, because you are going to have to use the gsr pickup and pan. Just use the bearings for a ls though because the rods are different.

i knew there was something else i needed, the bearings my builder would know anyway but its good to know just in case.
oh yeah this will most likely need to be linehoned or ?

Do not align hone when you have matching main caps from the block you are going to put in. Chances that you will run into problems with the oil pump/main seal not lining up to the crank. If your bearing clearance doesn't come up to your liking, size them up using different size OEM bearings.
