Default line hone needed?

I want to intall the Function 7 five main girdle on a b18a/b. Will I need to have a line hone done afterwards or just torque it in place?

line hone is a really good idea since the girdle could end up loading your mains differently. This gets really expensive though- cost of line hone + cost of new bearings if needed + cost of girdle.
If you don't have much of a budget- put the girdle on and see how the crank spins- if it spins as easily as before, skip the line hone.
