Default lil bit of rust on the crank

so i went to go pick up my friend's b16 block and crank from the machene shop and on the crank their was rust on it where the crank sits in the block... he polished it and saied it wouldent be a problem, but if you run your finger over it, you can feel its still sort of rough. anybody think this would be more likly to spin a bering or would it be alright?

If it is not too bad a micropolish may clean things up. If not the journal may need to be turned down and polished. Do not run the crank if it has this rough journal surface...I wouldn't
