does anyone know the lenghts on the intermediate shafts for 1st gen b16? like the y1 vs. s1???? mine is 13.5 inches long and i have a s1 tranny but i think i have a y1 int. shaft because when i turn right the car shakes really bad and i have 90-91 teg axles on both sides...anyone know what int. shaft i have????

 

Go to http://www.hasport.com They will tell you exactly what you need. Check out the FAQ section about axles. Helped me a bunch. I just found out that I just bought an auto int. shaft... cause Im dumb.

You should be running a 90-93 integra intermediate shaft and axles in your swap.

The b16 intermediate shaft is too long and will end up compressing the cv joint on corners.

this is why i am asking....i dont know which shaft i have....supposibly i have the 90-93 integra one but i dont think i do...i have a s1 tranny but i think somehow the intermediate shaft got switched...thats why i asked if anyone knows the lenghts? if someone has a 90-93 one and they can measure real quick for me that wpould be great

 

Ahhh, I see...
I cant help you out right now, but if I come across one that is out of a car within the next day or so I will measure it for you.

Supposedly I am going to be picking one up that is out of a 90-93 integra this weekend sometime (maybe today) and I will measure that one for you if the deal goes through.
