Default jumpy throttle?

recently i decided to finally ditch my sticking throttle body with another i had in my garage. swap them out and the idle sky rocketed so i switched back to the original no problem. a few days pass and now when i start to get going(mostly at low mph 1st, 2nd) the throttle starts jerking the car like its not getting air. my friend says its possible that the map sensor is reading an untrue value so i should swap it. so i fix the other throttle body i have and put it on with a different sensor and all. still the same problem. no CELs. im stumped. motor is a lsv, type r intake mani, ls throttle body

Check your tps. Make sure you are at .45-.5 volts at closed throttle. Also make sure when you move the throttle (engine off, key turned to on position of course....), that the reading smoothly increased to about 4.5 volts wide open throttle I believe it is.. Check that. The other tb sounds like it had a vacuum leak when you hooked it up.

i dont think it'd be the tps since it is two different ones that werent removed from their respective t/b but ill look into it. thanks

i still think its that. Just because you used a different tb doesn't mean its calibrated correctly. check for vacuum leaks also..

so ive been roughing it the past few days and finally a cel. 43(obd1) fuel system. the car has a new walbro(feburary). i just changed the fuel filter with an autoparts store one after the cel. starts up much better now(had been taking 15 seconds or so) but still seems to be screwy. now im thinking poor gas is a possiblity

problem solved. fuel line connected to the pump started shreading. gas was leaking back into the tank and not feeding the motor
