Default JDM ITR Throttle Body

Im thinking of purchasing a JDM ITR Throttle body for my GSR. I just put on a blox intake manifold, itr throttle cable and bracket last week. Im thinking about upgrading to one because I wanted to put CTR cams in my motor as well. Seeing as im putting alot of ITR parts on the car, I figured the flow characteristics of the throttle body would better match the cams/intake manifold/etc.

My question is; I heard that the JDM ITR throttle body doesnt have the cold start valve(or also known as the fitv {fast idle valve]). So when I start my car now with my stock throttle body it idles at 1500-1800 rpms while its warming up, almost like a choke on a dirtbike. But im afraid if I buy a JDM ITR throttle body it wont do this anymore and the motor will have a harder time warming up. Is this true?

Do you guys think that the throttle body would benefit me?

I would really appreciate the feedback since I have been a member for years and never posted for technical help. I think this would be a good post to add to the archives.

Thanks!

And Yes I did try to search, several times

you should send your tb to maxbore.com they can make your stock gsr tb 64mm and ask them to change the part that throttle cable go's on to from the gsr one to a b16 or itr one then you need a throttle cable and the cable bracket

Ya, I already switched the throttle body pulley for a b16 one. Thanks for the input. Does anyone know the answer to my first question?

It doesn't matter. It will still cold-start high-idle.
