Default installing a built head?

getting a built head. its port and polished with type r valves, jun springs and retainers. can i use my ctr cams without snapping them? i was told that i can just readjust the valves and it should be find. and if i do install them whats the specs on the install?

reason why im asking is because my friend had an alaniz head and he just put gsr for the mean time, one day he snapped the cams in 3 pieces. i dont want that to happen. so let me know if you know anything. thanks.

his cams probably snapped because of installer error. follow the torque specs on the cam holders correctly.
