installed walbro 255 won't start
Hi my project car I'm working on is a 99 rhd civic (converted) the motor is a b20 so over the winter I decided to do a mild turbo build while I had time. So ran the car for a 200 miles ran good but no tuned yet was trying to work out the kinks. I installed a walbro 255lph fuel pump started the car it ran for about 20 seconds sputtered and died re start car and died now just cranks the pump is definitly running. The car still had stock fuel pressure regulators and injectors I ordered an aem fpr and rc 750cc injectors but not here yet. Is this a regulator issue please help. Thank you
When the car is cold crack the line after the filter and see if you have fuel. The hose connecting the pump to the hanger may have come off. If you have fuel at the filter then you may have a min relay issue or ECU issue.
I Wil check today do you think it's odd that it ran fine till I put a bigger pump in. And I know the lines are still on pump I didn't put the cover on it yet
So an update got car running. Turns out the walbro pump didn't fit in the pump housing like the factory pump so while having less than a half tank of fuel it was pushing the filter above fuel I modified the pump holder dropped it in and yay car runs.
