Installed shifter bushings now problem.....
I just installed prothane shifter bushings into my car, and it feels as if the shifter doesn't want to move to much. I know it's suppost to be tighter, but i know it's not suppost to be this tight. I think i tightened the actual shifter it self down to tight. is that possible?? the bolt that holds teh shifter being to tight and hard to shift??
you tightened the nut/bolt on the shifter to tight.
get under the car and loosen it a little until the shifter moves freely...

^ for a stock shifter. however most aftermarket ones come with bearings in the lower parts and also include spacers/washers. make sure you use those if you have an aftermarket shifter.
