The infamous Tornado.....
Ok, i realize that it is quite possibly the most homosexual concept, but in the infomercials it shows a distinct gain in hp.... if it is so useless, why did it show that gain? Anyone know? Thanks!

I havn't seen the ad for it, but it wouldn't be hard to make a dyno show more HP in a devious manner.
You could dyno the car when it needs a major tune up, do the tune up and pop the tornado in, dyno again and say "Same car, with the tornado got 10hp gain!".

The Tornado isnt even a consumer product in my mind. I'd rather my neibor bottle up his feces and sell it to me... cuz I'd buy that before I buy a tornado. Its totally useless. But hey... if you ever feel like giving away money.. just IM me.. I can use a few bucks.
Also.. dynos can be manipulated such as like what was said above... tune up and non tune up. Hot engine ...cold engine... Fan.. no Fan. Lots of was to manipulate dynos. And domestic cars have horrible intake systems, which makes them candidates for bullshit products like the tornado. As for a car like a Honda.. if you bought it... consider yourself lucky if you dont LOSE power.
