Default im experiencing many probs w/ my setup... ne1 help??

alrite i put 2gether an ls/vtec(b16 head) w/ctr cams,(330 inj) and whole manley vavlvetrain. its a 99 bottom end with ctr pistons. im yielding(machineshop said) about 13.1 cp. now my motor pings alot. i retarded the timming to stop it. ok the car ran great for a while. Now it started ping again with this weather(colder). so i raised my fp but it slightly helped. I DONT KNOW WHAT THE F&*D& to do. im so sik of this car. i luv the sport but at times like this i wanna blow it up. OH the latest problem is that at a sterady speed, steady motor idle, the cluster starts to go up and down by itself.... ok all that is bad, but the only time my bitch seems to be working beautiful is in this humid rainy weather. wtf. for the last two days it has rain and it seems perfect. i go to accelerate and i get quick response.... PLEASE HELP... i might seem crazy but theres gotta be sum1 that can help... sorry for the grammar but im sik of this $H!t...... help me before i do sumtin dumb. like drive it in to a wall(jk) i might hate it but not that much

well first off, with ctr pistons and b16 head you have less then 13:1...its more like 12:1 or so i belive.....have u tryed retarding timing at all? u can dump all the fuel u want but if the timing is too advanced it will knock
