Default ignition tech: MSD 6AL, what coil?

I just purchased an MSD ignition 6AL system. To make a long story short, I needed this for its soft-touch rev-limiter function.

Anyway, after researching on the compatible MSD coils, it seemed that the Blaster SS coil was made to run with the 6-series ignitions.

But I have seen many people with the Blaster 2 coils along with the 6-series. What should I be looking for and whats the difference?

If you can explain why there is a difference and what the benefits are I'd also really appreciate it.

THANKS!

blaster ss puts out more voltage than the 2 ... not that it will make a difference, both will work the same, you can even use your stock coil.
