i have an idle problem with my car... when i first start it up it idles high at like 2.5 than it goes up higher to like 3 than it starts going up and down and it goes down when its warmed up, but the idle doesnt go below 1.5.. anyone got any ideas on wut the problem may be?? i tired messing with the IAC but no help. any help would be appreciated. thanks

 

are you getting any check engine lights? and what ecu are you running?

if you're running an OBD1 P13 ecu, I bet it has something to do with code 12 (EVAP or EGR, I always get those 2 confused)

 

check ur cold start up idle air control valve
its mounted under ur throttle body

its a common thing

 

I don't know about the H22 but I had a similar prob with my D16Z6 and it was the IAC. I took it apart and found that there was a plastic peice that is threaded and had backed it self out. I would take it apart and see if every thing looks good.
