I NEED a transmission GURU
Heres my issue. Ive gotta USDM LS Casing with JDM GSR internals and LSD. It worked when it was pulled from the car with only a 3rd gear issue. Under the assumption that all B series GSR gear sets are the same. I got my buddy at Acura to order a 3rd-4th gear syncro/sleeve set. We tried installing it and the sleeve where the fork goes on is much bigger than the last one. Any ideas?
What Im trying to figure out is: what gear set do I use?
Im told the from the original owner that that tranny is from a 97 GSR. I ordered parts for a 94. I also know that it is a GSR internal set because i took the JDM GSR LSD out and put it in my USDM GSR trans.
Any help would be greatly appreciate and thanks in advance.

if you have a bigger sleeve on the new one than the one you replaced, then you have a ls gearset or ls 3/4th set for that matter. the vtec 3/4 sleeve and fork is slightly bigger than the non vtec for 3/4 sleeve. it's only on this set do the forks have different sizes. the year of your gsr sleeve set shouldn't matter meaning it's the same part.
sounds like you might have a 4.40 lsd ls geared transmission if the lsd and ring gear go into your stock gsr tranny and turn fine.
how many teeth are on the ring gear on the lsd?
