Default i have an ignition problem..help

i have a 91 integra ls..my igntion is all rigged..theres an extension cord running from my battery to my starter..and the other end theres an on/off swith..i turn the key to on then push the buttonn and my car turns on...what would i need to make it work from my key????

You're new here, aren't you? First off, there is absolutely no need to post mutiple times in the same forum or even to other forums with your problem. If someone is willing and able to help solve your problem, they will. Be patient!

I can't see the hacked up mess you have, but here are some suggestions.

A real battery cable (red) should run from the positive terminal of the battery to the apropriate terminal on the starter. A "signal" wire should run from the ignition switch to the starter solenoid. Hopefully there is a bloody stump near the starter that runs from the ignition switch. Reconnect that to the starter solenoid and the system should work with just the key.

Either the hacker wanted a push button start for some dumb *** reason or the ignition switch is faulty and this was a quick fix.
