Default I hate to ask....but I have to know

Drives me crazy when I can’t find the answer to something...even a basic question.

Can anyone tell me the grade of this Honda bolt? I would assume 10.9 based on there being what appears to be a 10 on there. but assuming isn’t really knowing. I have searched this here, TI and the depths of the google machine with no luck. So I’m hoping the answer wasn’t hiding here somewhere.

thanks.

thanks for the link, but this basically just told me what I already knew. I know this bolt is an M8 and thats it’s 65mm. I know how to identify grade on sae fasteners and well metric is usually stamped on the head 8.8, 10.8, 12.9 exc... but I can’t seem to find anything on this specific marking.

That's because it's an oem honda bolt. You need to look in the service manual.
