Alright I was planning on picking up a LS throttle body from this guy for $15 to put on my D16Y8. Then I did a search and saw a post that said the 90-93 throttle bodies are smaller than the newer ones. Is this true? If so dould any of you guys tell me what size they are. The post I read said the old one was 55 and the new one 58. I thought they were bigger than that.

Also I know someone posted it before but I couldn't find it, What size is my current throttle bidy? D16Y8?

I did a search but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for so please do tell me to SEARCH.

well, I know 4sure that the LS tb (from B18B1) is larger than my old Si tb (D16Z6). Also the diff btwn. the B18A and B18B motors were the (basically) the head, intake manifold and tb. I think the B18a tb is a bit bigger than ur D16Y8 one (just hold them "face2face" and look - I know my B18B tb was a **** load bigger than my D16Z tb). l8r
