Just helping a friend he has a 99 civic ek and the air bags has deployed and he just bought a new set but just wondering if there are sensors that he needs to replace to make sure when installed or putting the battery back the air bag won't deploy again..any suggestion would be nice...

 

i dont know for sure about hondas in general, but my autobody teacher said that most vehicles store the information and the sensors can usually be deployed 3 times before you have to replace them, again im not 100% just giving my two cents

In any honda once the air bags have deplyed the SRS control module must be replaced. There are companies that can "rebuild" your old module but I do not recommend them Good luck. That should be it on a 99. Bags and module.
