How to remove oil stain from concrete?

Yea I am wondering if any of you have any secrets or products that will remove oil stains from concrete? https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif

Try some of the generic degreasers in their concentrated from along with a pressure washer. Should come right out, unless its been on the concrete for a long time.

If it's fresh, some stuff called "purple power" letting it soak for a few, then a high powered pressure washer FTW. Or put down some generic kitty litter and then using the above. Other than that, brake cleaner works well.

degrease then dump on some kitty litter, then degrease one more time.

pressure washer and some chemicals should fix the problem, but its very hard to take it completely off.

Azn Kenny 11-27-2006 10:14 AM

Pave new concrete over it...

gsrious 11-27-2006 11:44 AM

go and buy some balck paint and paint the whole drive way/garage floor black. then you wont have to worry about the stain anymore.

you should always wipe off any excess oil first. then do what others have said. repeat those muiltiple time for a lasting effect.

Shack,96 11-27-2006 10:59 PM

tide with bleach does the trick for me also, use broom then pressure washer.
