Default how read the code for obd1

i was wondering if there was another way to check how to read the code for an obd1 ecu
i know you need the tester object but i dont have funds for it
and i heard you can test it but idk how
check engine light come on
any help please

Yes as long as you can find the blue (or green) 2 pin SCS connector it works on any OBD1 Honda. Civic, Accord, Prelude, EF, CB, BB6, ABCDEFG...it's all good.

one thing though, On the other link it says that the EK has the blue connector with brown and black wires and that the EG has a grey connector with tan and green, but my 94 civ ex has the blue connector with brown and black. But it did help me get mine done, so good job with the post and thanks..
