Can someone please let me know how much horsepower I can see with a turbocharged EX SOHC VTEC engine. I hear so many different numbers. Also I'm not just talking a SOHC VTEC stock engine everything that goes with it, low compression pistons, rods, the whole nine yards. My goal is 250-300hp if I can see that with a SiRII easier than that is the engine I will go for. I've been debating whehter I wanted to keep the stock engine and go for the most horsepower or go for the DOHC VTEC engine I so love so much. Please someone who knows, let me know. I want 300 horse but would settle for 250 horse with the stock engine.

 

higher boost on a build d16 will net around 250
or slightly lower boost on a stock b16a will make about the same.
with the right engine management and tuning, it should be no problem.
