can't really answer that one, there can be many variables in it that could change the whole race. driver skill, where u r at, condition of the motor, clutch, bad start, good start, etc... try and do a search and mayb that'll help. But think about it, it won't be any slower (106hp vs 127hp + VTEC), If u are gonna do that swap, then go ahead, its a bolt-in (just get the ecu too and run the vtec wires), other than that, you're set. Now if u wanna know what would be a fast *** swap into one of those.... well, just do a search, all D-seriesm B-series and H-series are good canidates, just check it out and you'll find a lot of good info there.
peace.

i would think 15's maybe mid 15's. i have a 99 cx hatch and i swapped to an ex tranny and an older 94 ex intake manifold with the usual bolt ons, the car feels pretty quick i think i can maybe bust some 15's i had a friend run 16.3's all day with a bone stock dx hatch with just an exhaust and intake so i think i can run 15's with the tranny and intake manifold swap.

If its a bone stock DX, it wouldnt have an aftermarket exhuast and intake....right? Bone stock would be everything on the car that came from the factory. Am I missing something here? Did you mean stock internals?

bone stock dx hatch with just an exhaust and intake so i think i can run 15's with the tranny and intake manifold swap.

There's no way a DX or CX hatch 6th gen is only 40-50 pounbds lighter than an EX. THe EX is a foot longer, has a sunroof, and a good bit more sheetmetal.

EX's push around about 2500-2600 pounds where the hatches should weigh about 2200-2300 pounds.

are you saying that headers/intake/exhaust are aftermarket "internals"? if so I think you should study engine design more
