im trying to remove the wire harness off my old 02 sensor to use on my other manifold. the 02 sensor in the old manifold will not budge, im thinking of hacksawing it off.. the new manifold has the sensor part, but no wire.. what is the easiet way to remove the wire?

If you are trying to remove the O2 sensor, it should just unscrew out using a open wrench.

 

no, it will not move. i tried using an open end wrench and it will not come out
i sprayed it with wd40 and liquid wrench, nothing will work..

Got a torch? Heat up the manifold around the sensor. Try not to heat up the sensor. Sometimes they come out easier if you get the exhaust really hot by driving. But it sounds like yours is already off the car.

 

The O2 sensor is hard to get off, but try this it works EVERYTIME. Just spray the WD 40 or whatever on it. Then take a pair of vice grips, and put on the sensor nice and tight. The take a hammer and hit the crap out of it counter clockwise of course. About 5 or 6 good hard hits and it should come off. Works everytime for me.
