Default How do I know when the flyweel needs to be resurfaced?

Im doing a B swap into a CRX and so I have the flywheel sittin out.
The question that I have is that does it need to be machined if there are not any large grooves in it?

If you are putting a new clutch on then now would be the time.

anytime you put a new clutch (or diffrent used clutch) back on a used flywheel, it should be resurfaced.

resurfacing makes the flywheel completley flat and smooth again. even if it "looks ok" it could still be warped from the previous clutch.
