Default Hondata vs. CromePRO

Just wondering what to get once I get rid of my APEX-i VAFC2. I was gonna go with an S200 which I believe is about $250, correct? Now how much cheaper is CromePRO?

Also what are the tuning differences? I have a N/A JDM B16A. i/h/e,Cams,IM and basic fuel stuff. Which should would suit me better, price wise too?

Thanks in Adv

We just use the free version at the shop.. works great. Complete engine management for $200-300 (ecu+harness) = badass

hows neptune superior to Hondata? And I hear alot of them have FREE software? what good is it if your having a shop tune it? what would "I" need the actual software for?

if you got someone to tune your car with crome/uberdata than you would just pay for the tune itself. You wouldnt have to purchase any software like hondata and neptune. All you pay for is the software on those. Go with freeware! you cant beat the price and its just as good as one you would pay for!

Still kinda confused. With Hondata you send out your ecy to get chipped with the hondata chip. then bring it to a Hondata tuner, correct?

What exactly then do you do with crome or uberdata or even neptune?

i think what they are saying is w/ hondata you have to pay to have them unlock the software on top of purchasing the hondata sytem. i think w/ crome is it just a chip you buy and bring it to the tuner and they tune it w/o you having to buy the software.

ok so I understand how crome works but hondata, Unlock what software? I thought you send your ecu to get chipped then plug it into a tuners cpu and tune it, seeing he'll already have the software if he is a tuner?

if i understood it correctly you buy the hondata system..then you pay extra for "serial-code" type numbers to unlock the software on the hondata. just like a key for windows xp or a game to install it. please don't quote me on it though i too am still learning about all this.
