honda odyssey clock removal
anyone have a diagram, manual, pictures, of how to remove the clock from the center console of a honda odyssey.
trying to help someone out, the clock does not light up when the lights are turned on.

If it is a recent model 98-04, it is more difficult than you might think.
1. remove driver's switch panel (to left of steering wheel)
2. remove steering column covers
3. remove center panel
4. tilt wheel down and remove all 8 or so screws in the instrument panel
5. remove instrument panel
Then you will have access to the clock.

Or you can just bang on the dash like most people do. It's really not all that magical though. By banging on the dash you vibrate the broken filament in the bulb to get to make contact at the break and fuse back together. When I was in the USAF we did this with land based radio systems all the time. This works w/ most light bulbs, automotive or others.
