Default Honda EDIX Crusie control

Hi Guys

I have looked averwhere and stumbled across this super site.

I am trying to see if cruise control can be fitted to my 2005 Honda Edix by using the standard steering wheel and by buying the cruise control panel that is supplied to the OEM car.

I was wandering if i would need to activate the cruise by HDS or is it activated simply by plugging it in?

Thanks guys

Tim

Neat car! We didn't get those in the states.

I know older honda's cruise control is a stand-alone thing. But I imagine yours, as is most newer american hondas, is probably drive-by-wire. Which means the cruise system would normally be completely integrated into the car's electrical system.

That said, I have 0 experience with that model so hopefully someone who knows can chime in. Hell, maybe you have a throttle cable.. which would greatly improve the likelihood of installing oem or aftermarket cruise systems.
