Default high rpm fluctuation

When I'm gettin it at high rpm's the needle starts going crazy. Thought maybe something in the distributor could be lose btut checked and its all good. Any thoughts?

distributor is probably starting to fail. or your cluster is bad, or you simply have a bad or loose ground

Well I replaced all the internals of the distributor recently includigng coil and igniter. Grounds seem good but ill double check that

Solved the issue. It was the wire that goes from Igniter to the top of coil. . Replaced it and all is good and shift light works great
