ok heres the problem... we tried to use the key to take off one of the lug nuts and it broke the damn key. does anyone else have any suggestions on taking these damn lug nuts off before i start dremeling? we've checked everywhere for the key but nobody has them and the only place that does have them will only sell it as a set for 50 bucks for the complete set. BTW we've also tried hammering in standards and metrics and both sets will not take these damn things off.

Are you talking about the regular old hex key its like a size 17mm or something? You can buy them from snap-on or if you are really in a bind you can come to my work and I will help you get them off.
Hmm seven sides... Which lug nuts are you using?? Are you using Volk lug nuts?
You guys all know you don't have to torque down lugs nuts that tight. At least tight enough to break the key.

its wheel mate... and my homie just bought the car and the owner wanted his rims back but we couldnt even take off the lug nuts so... he cant get his panasports back til we get the lug's to crack and the car also needs the axles changed... ARgH
weld a bar or something to the nut, then twist, overtightening the other lugs will also help, but hopefully not bend your rotor. you can try glue/jbweld, but i doubt it'd work. Another idea would be to make a mold and then have it cast, but thats too much work. Also, maybe cuting off the top of the lug nut might work.
After searching through literally 10 different stores for the key, I've finally found a place that supplies it! A place called PRESTIGE located in Huntington Beach, CA between Warner & Gothard.
Well after purchasing the key I returned back home and waited for my car to cool down before attacking the lugs. I managed to get one...yes, ONE lug off while the others remain on. I've even tried WD-40 to see if it'll loosen the grip. The key just smooths right over the lug nuts....
Man! These lugs are ****! Anymore suggestions?

Not that this is any help but, when my McGard(sp) lug key broke we had to cut the lugs off with an air chisle. But that was only one lug per wheel.
Good luck.
To anyone putting lug nuts on with an air gun

Not if you have a shitty one like me that only puts on like 85lb/ft at 125 (max) psi.
