ok so i put a 2000 civic si motor in my hatch untill my gsr motor is finished at the machine shop....

will not crank....

no check engine light....

full tank of gas...

getting spark too the wires...

i did not change the plugs has some ngk's in it....

when you turn it over it just pumps like there are no cylinders firing off at all....

no poping or sputtering just sounds like i unpluged the ecu and iam trying to crank it....

what do you guys think?

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

 

if you are getting spark then its gas, are you getting fuel pressure?

 

sounds like you forgot a ground wire

 

both grounds are connected
40psi of fuel
new gas

 

have you tried swapping ecu's?

 

ok so i figured out this morning that it was my head that was bad so i swapped on one i just got back from the machine shop got everything back to good and cranked her right up.... purrs like a baby except for the minor intake mani leak and timming needs to be adjusted everything is fine and dandy....

this is what its doin now....

when you hit the gas it boggs down like its losing power.. i think this is the intake mani leakage if anyone has had this problem before let me know thanks
