Default HELP WITH OUTTER TIE-ROD

hello i have a question about my TIE-ROD and when i got my alignment the person said i need to replace it and i bought new ones already but i heard that it will get messed up anyways because of my car being lowered is that true or should i just replace it anyways for the time being.

I dont know what they mean by it will get messed up cuz its lowered. That's a new one I haven't heard before. Did the alignment tech tell you that? Anyway you might as well have an alignment shop install the tie rods for you since it will need to be realigned anyway. Second best thing to do is to carefully mark the threads on your old tie rod ends before you replace them, and get the new ones as close as possible to those marks.

dont just mark the threads on the tie-rod. measure the outer tie rod all the way to the inner.

If you only mark the threads, u never know if your old one was bent or shorter than the new one. my .02 cents

Generally the inner steering arm will bend before the outer tie rod due to the thickness and the fact the outer is solid afer a point.

yea, but the outer tie rod is probably aftermarket. sometimes i dont trust the manufacturing and they are usually a lil bit dfferent
