hey guys/gals. if there are any.. anyways, needs some guidance. my car, 98 civic EX, used to be an automatic. nuetral droppin' like a motha f***er. anyways, i did a tranny conv. to 5 spd. that was a while back. wen i did the swap, i was told the check engine light wil be on for the dude had trouble finding the proper ecu fer the tranny/car. yet, the car will still operate. what do i need to do to get the check engine light off. car is obd2 now w/ 5spd tranny. note: took the kick panel off and found a blue plug not plugged in. jus dangling around. looks like a phone jack line. any help is greatly appreciated. thanx

 

i found out the blue plug is the ECU jumper cord. however, i am still in the gutter w/ this stupid check engine light. few days ago, i borrowed an ecu from a local shop in hopes it was the right ECu. however, it wasn't. then, i was told that i needed a new intake manifold.?? instead of goin' and buyin' one thing and stilll not havin' the problem fixed and buyin' another and another part. what should i do? besides drive my car off a cliff.
