Default help with installing of teins SS

first off, what do you use to prevent the piston rod from spinning when tightening down the OEM mount on there. the instructions says not to use anything at all to clamp the rod.

also, when the suspension is fully compressed, the bushing on the top mount comes off of the mount.

Easy! The very top of the rod should have a hex hole inside it, put a hex wrench in there and hold it with that. Every shock has that my Illuminas had it but it didn't say how to hold it eather I just figured it out from looking at it a little.

i have the illuminas too and they are far different than the illuminas. if you put an allen wrench in the "hex hole," it would just turn and make the adjustments for the stiffness of the shock.
